Welcome to Vedas Ayurveda. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to www.vedasayurveda.com and your purchase or use of the natural herbs, Ayurvedic preparations, wellness products, and related items offered through this website.

By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to place an order through this website.

Products intended for children must be purchased and administered only by a responsible adult after considering the product label and obtaining professional advice where appropriate.

2. Nature of our products

Our products may contain naturally sourced herbs, minerals, plant extracts and other ingredients traditionally used in Ayurveda and general wellness practices.

Because these products contain natural ingredients:

Colour, aroma, taste, texture and consistency may vary between batches;
Seasonal and geographical variations may occur;
Natural sedimentation or slight changes in appearance may occur;
Packaging or labels may be updated without materially changing the product; and
Product photographs may appear slightly different due to lighting or screen settings.

Reasonable natural variation does not, by itself, mean that a product is defective.

3. Product information

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information about product ingredients, quantity, origin, suggested use, storage and precautions.

The product label supplied with the product forms an important part of the product information. In case of any difference between the website description and the label, please contact us before using the product.

6. Usage and storage

Products must be used only according to the suggested use, dosage and precautions printed on the label.

Do not exceed the suggested quantity unless advised by a qualified healthcare professional. Products must not be used after their expiry or best-before date.

Store products as directed on the label, away from direct sunlight, excess heat and moisture, and out of the reach of children.

We are not responsible for deterioration or harm caused by incorrect use, improper storage, contamination after opening or failure to follow the product instructions.

7. Orders

Placing an order represents an offer to purchase the selected products. An automated order confirmation acknowledges receipt of the order but does not necessarily constitute acceptance.

An order is accepted when it is dispatched or when we separately confirm acceptance.

We may cancel or decline an order before dispatch because of:

Product unavailability;
Incorrect pricing or product information;
Payment failure;
Incomplete delivery details;
Suspected fraud or unauthorised activity;
Unusual quantities indicating unauthorised resale; or
Restrictions under applicable law.

If we cancel a prepaid order, the amount received will be refunded to the original payment method within a reasonable period.

8. Prices and payment

All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes and delivery charges will be shown during checkout.

Payments may be processed through authorised third-party payment gateways. You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

We do not ordinarily store complete card or banking information. Payment providers may process your details according to their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Shipping and delivery

Products will be delivered to the address provided during checkout. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate name, address, postal code and telephone number.

Delivery periods are estimates and may be affected by courier delays, weather, public holidays, government restrictions, remote locations or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

10. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Cancellations, replacements, returns and refunds are governed by our Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy.

Because herbs and wellness products are consumable and hygiene-sensitive, opened or used products will ordinarily not be accepted for return unless they are defective, damaged, expired, incorrect, tampered with or do not match the order or advertised description.

If a product arrives damaged, leaking, tampered with, incorrect or incomplete, contact us within 24 hours of delivery at info@vedasayurveda.com. Please provide:

Your order number;
Photographs or video of the outer packaging;
Photographs of the product, seal and label; and
A description of the issue.

Nothing in this section limits the rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable Indian law.

11. Product authenticity and resale

Products purchased directly from our website are intended for personal use unless we provide prior written authorisation for commercial resale or distribution.

We cannot verify the authenticity, storage conditions or handling of products purchased from unauthorised third-party sellers.

You may not reproduce our packaging, labels, product photographs, batch information or brand identity or represent yourself as an authorised Vedas Ayurveda seller without written permission.

12. Reviews and testimonials

Reviews and testimonials represent the personal experiences of individual customers. They do not guarantee that every customer will experience the same results.

If you submit a review, photograph or testimonial, you confirm that it is truthful and based on your genuine experience.

We may decline or remove content that is false, misleading, offensive, promotional, unrelated, unlawful or infringes another person’s rights.

13. Intellectual property

The Vedas Ayurveda name, logo, labels, designs, product photographs, graphics, text, videos and website content are owned by or licensed to us and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

Website content may be viewed for personal, non-commercial purposes. It may not be copied, modified, republished, distributed or commercially used without our prior written permission.

14. Prohibited activities

You must not:

Use the website for an unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or another customer’s account;

Scrape or automatically extract website content;

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, defective products, negligence or any consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

18. Force majeure

We will not be responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, epidemics, government restrictions, transport interruptions, courier disruption, telecommunications failure or labour disputes.

We will make reasonable efforts to complete or refund affected orders as appropriate.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our products, business operations or applicable law.

Updated Terms will be posted on the website with a revised “Last updated” date. The Terms applicable when an order was accepted will ordinarily continue to govern that order.

20. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Subject to the rights available to consumers under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and other applicable laws, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
